1. Life is too short to waste calories on food that doesn’t taste amazing.

    My new mantra.

  2. 163.4

Clearly I’m doing something right!!! I am 3.4 pounds away from my next goal!! (:

ANNND I’ve lost over 10 pounds in less than a month! Monday, April 16th I weighed in at 174.2 and today, May 10th, I weighed in at 163.4! That’s a 10.8 pound difference! :D

  3. Went over my cals today by 150. Surprisingly, I feel guiltless. It felt good to cheat just once in the month!

(: plus, I was still down cals because I burned so many today. So go me.

  4. I have officially hit the part of being healthy where not being healthy is not an option…

    Explain? Surely.

On my “Disney Bucket List” (aka the things I want to do before I leave in 12 days), I had “enjoy a peanut butter hot fudge sundae from Ghiradelli (calorie amount: 610). I budgeted out my calories today, and decided it was time to tackle it.

So I made my way to Downtown Disney, ordered and started to eat it…the first six bites or so were good, the next few were all right, and then…it literally made me nauceous.

I ended up not eating the whole thing and left with an intense craving for apples and spinach.

Then, I went shopping (Vera Bradley outlet, my weakness!) and on the way back to my appartment, let’s just say I didn’t feel too well. As in, the second I got back to my apartment, I vomitted and…well, you know the rest. TMI, surely, and I apologize.

But, it proves to me that I am heading in the right direction - the healthy direction. My body’s not used to crappy food anymore — and that, that is a great feeling.

  6. “Drink 8 glasses of water”, they say. In reality, any water-based liquid (tea, juice, coffee, etc.) will count towards your daily intake. Out of those three, tea has the most benefits for you. Drink some tea.
